Company History

Aljaloca Construção Civil UniPessoal Lda was founded in 2004 by Alfredo Ferreira in Algarve, Portugal. Alfredo is originally from Porto, North Portugal.

Lived in the UK for 14 years working in the construction industry. In 2002, decided to return to Portugal to enjoy the Portuguese way of life. We wanted our children to benefit from the wonderful lifestyle here – the beaches, the sunshine, the outdoor life and the great people.

One of the reasons we began building residences and vacation villas is that we understand what people want here in Portugal, and we can help them achieve that lifestyle.

We want everything to be as straightforward as possible for you. We’ll spend a great deal of time up front to understand your needs and expectations. The lines of communication will always be open (we speak English and Portuguese) and we’ll even send written progress updates and photos if you aren’t local.

Alfredo is personally involved in every job we take on. He plans and oversees all work, ensuring meticulous attention at each step.
We have a crew of experienced craftsman, as well as our own in-house engineer and talented architects with whom we routinely work. Together, we take great pride in our workmanship and know that quality is in the details.
